ABOUT ME
I am an accomplished mid-level HR professional with 5 years of experience looking to obtain a role within a talent acquisition, employee relations, and/or human resources capacity.

Working for an organization on an intimate HR team has afforded me the opportunity to build a diverse background of skills, as well as exposure to the multiple facets of human resources. I have experience driving company culture, establishing & automating HR functions, while aligning those HR functions with overall organizational strategy.
My skills in recruitment, employee relations, process implementation, and integration of key organizational initiatives focused on engagement, established internal communications, camaraderie, and enhanced departmental project management have been repeatedly demonstrated and recognized by leadership.

To expand my knowledge of organizational business development, I made the transition into sales. Working against a quota has fueled my entrepreneurial mindset & helped me determine that pairing my motivation in connecting with people and assisting them to make an employment and/or career transition while working towards a monetary goal is where I thrive. I'm excited at the potential of working with a team where I can contribute my expertise in addition to learning where I can grow and advance within an organization.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
At High Point University, I had many roles on and off campus to better the community and myself. My freshman year gave me a realm of opportunities where I managed to start Relay for Life on High Point's campus, which is an American Cancer Society fundraiser. From freshman to junior year I co-chaired the event and raised over $70,000 for the American Cancer Society. I was awarded Freshman Female of the Year and Relay for Life was awarded Event of the Year in 2009.
Throughout my collegiate career I was heavily involved with Student Government on campus representing my graduating class from freshman to junior year. I also had the privilege to mentor a student at a local elementary school with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program.
I am also a member of the sorority, Kappa Delta where I have grown as a person, due to being apart of a sisterhood that focuses on scholarship, leadership and philanthropy. Through Kappa Delta, I have learned motivation and cohesiveness in an organization.
I traveled abroad to Florence, Italy in the fall of my junior year where I experienced a growth in cultural knowledge and love for non-verbal communication and the Italian language.

PROFICIENCIES
TALENT ACQUISITION
Generating a constant candidate pool is key to quickly pairing talent to a role. Not only am I able to determine organizational needs quickly, I can match that to candidates whom I know can produce results.
CULTURE KEEPER
I am able to recruit applicable talent to diversify and produce a positive company culture. Knowing an organization's culture & being able to articulate that accurately to potential and current employees is critical to breaking silos.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Building relationships with employees is a true testament to a HR professional. Being a resource for employees while maintaining the needs of the organization is something I pride myself on.
